Wedding Day Countdown

So, we just got back from Disney World, where we had the most wonderful time. This trip was our pre-wedding honeymoon since we won't be going on our honeymoon until some time next year. The weather was perfect and our overall stay was just sooo relaxing. It was our first time staying at the Beach Club Villas and boy was it worth it. Although we didn't get to hang out around the resort as much as we'd like to have, the time we did spend was in their much talked about pool. Sand from the bottom of the pool going between your toes, a lazy river, awesome slide and the numerous spas!

Ahhh... what a great vacation we had. Now it's back to reality and trying to finish up any wedding preparations that need to be done. I've started sending out the invitations, but I've got plenty more to go. When you have over 400 expected guests, it can be quite stressful. We still have to order the cake, pay the deposits for our photography/videography package, confirm the music with our DJ, speak with the restaurant about our menu and alcohol, and make sure my dress comes in in time. Did I ever mention how much I depise David's Bridal, especially the Long Island City location?! For brides-to-be, DO NOT go to the Long Island City location!!!! Stick with Paramus or even the Westbury location. They're much more accomodating.

Shop Talk

My main purpose for this blog is to provide the everyday working females and parents with great coupons... whether they're online discount codes or printable coupons, there's always time to save money. Sometimes a great coupon is all you need to satisfy your reason for purchasing items you'd never think to buy. How else can we explain to our boyfriends, fiancees or husbands the reason behind the 10 bags of goodies we've brought home or received?

Our response.. Well, honey, you see I had this great coupon and they also had a promotion so it was a very good deal. Aren't you glad I was able to save some money?


I'm new at blogging, but seeing how the economy is faring, I'll be as persistent as possible in finding new deals to help save all of us money. Wish me luck and I'll be sure to post any great deals I fall upon.
